UK Independent School Tour and Taster Day Programme

For those students wishing to study in the UK from this September (2016) but have not yet chosen a school, Eltive can arrange tours of local independent schools every week until the end of June. Students can come alone or with parents, will be accommodated in one of our selected families and allocated a tour guide who will be with them on every tour.

We are based in South East England, 80km from London on the Sussex coast. We know how important a child’s education is but also understand the worry of sending your child away to school, we have a whole school programme, including Guardianship services, preparation courses and homestay facilities (if they would rather not board)

Our local independent schools are not only second to none academically and pastorally but also provide a wide range of sports and arts, up to academy level. For example, one school has a highly regarded football academy where children from top teams around the world come to learn in an English School without missing out on their football progression. Swimming, horse riding and dramatics are on offer to name but a few.

Accommodation for the duration of the tour will be in host family homes, if hotels are preferred we can arrange this. We have a wide range of families chosen for their kindness and professionalism. Most are Mums with children of their own still at home therefore they understand the needs of young guests. Family profiles are available on every family. Your tour guide will organise transport, accompany you on all school visits and liaise with the school as well as settling the child at the beginning of each taster day.

A typical week would consist of visiting four schools and having a taster day at two, returning each evening to the host family before dinner. One local excursion with your host family is included in the price.
